Zone Two - Head, Neck & Shoulders

  • Avoid awkward neck movements and leaning forward towards the monitor
  • Select correct monitor height, (the top of the monitor frame should be at eye level). Always use a monitor or laptop riser
  • Maintain correct body posture by keeping your ears, shoulders and hips in a straight line
  • Select the correct work surface height. Tip: If you can't select the work surface height then change the chair height
  • Position documents vertically at the same height as the screen. This can be achieved easily with a copyholder

Tips: Products like monitor risers and copyholders can help to organise your workspace better, keeping your screen and documents at eye level to prevent neck strain. Copyholders are ideal for improving productivity. Products with integral clipboards allow you to take notepads everywhere and take copy directly from them.
